Get to know Heidi

Heidi Reiszner and her husband, Eugene, pastor one of the many campuses of Our Savior’s Church - a growing, multicultural, multi-generational church located in Opelousas, Louisiana. Eugene and Heidi have been married and in full time ministry for 30 years and have raised three now adult kids, adopted 2 needy dogs, and a pasture full of cows on their quiet farm that they affectionately call, Grace Ridge.

Nothing brings Heidi greater joy than drinking a cup of hot tea while studying God's Word and teaching women the importance of Jeremiah 9:24 (NIV): "but let the one who boasts boast about this: that they have the understanding to know me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,”declares the Lord."

On days when she is not teaching and discipling women, you will find her sitting on her back porch, reading a good book, or cooking up the best home-cooked meal for her family.
